Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living FAQ's

FAQ's about Retirement Living

Q: Can my guests stay overnight?
A: Of course! Guests are welcome to stay with you for short visits. At select communities we have fully appointed Guest Suites available for a nominal fee. For information about the availability of Guest Suites please contact the community.

Q: Can I bring my car?
A: Yes. Safe, convenient parking is available on campus. At select communities there may be additional parking options for a small monthly fee. We allow one vehicle per residence.

Q: Is housekeeping available?
A: Yes. Weekly housekeeping services are included in your monthly fee.

Q: I love gardening. Can I still enjoy it when I live here?
A: Yes. Gardening beds are available in select communities. In addition, some apartment homes may feature patios and decks that allow for container gardening. For questions regarding availability of gardening space, please contact the community.

Q: Do I rent my apartment home, or am I buying it?
A: You rent your apartment home on a month-to-month basis, eliminating the stress of a long-term lease and financial commitment. This allows you the flexibility you need to plan for the future.

Q: Will the cost of my services increase?
A: Your Monthly Service Fee is typically adjusted annually to reflect the current retirement community costs of labor, energy and food. However, adjustments are historically small and any increases are designed to maintain the integrity and quality of the services provided. Should you access additional services, such as assisted living, your monthly service fee will increase based on the level of care.

Q: I certainly don't plan to run out of money, but what happens if I can't pay my retirement community costs?
A: For those residents who experience unexpected financial challenges with their retirement community costs, we are committed to providing referrals to programs that may be able to assist them. At select communities, for those in need, we accept State Funding Assistance (Medicaid). For additional information regarding the acceptance of the Medicaid program please contact the community of interest.
